Trás-os-Montes — 'beyond the mountains' — lies in north-eastern Portugal. The continental climate shapes olives with depth and character.

In Possacos near Valpaços, Família Carmo has tended around 220 olive trees since 1898. Our oldest tree is 122 years old. We harvest late, stone-mill and cold-extract — for an oil that tastes of origin.
